For extreme long distance surveillance, the thru vision camera can be paired with the Computar Thru vision 60X Zoom (25-1500mm  w/extender) to clear obstacles and provide images clearer than the human eye. Lens technologies previously available were not able to reproduce color images, or focus through solid particles like smoke, sand or snow.
